Supply Chain Coordinator

Products getting damaged in the warehouse. Supplier delays holding up customer orders.  Customers need their orders before the supplier can get them ready. These are just some of the problems you’ll be trying to solve every day for your customers.

As you know, working in Supply Chain means keeping lots of different people happy, and this job is no different.  Things go wrong all the time, but you’ll get great satisfaction when it all comes together because of you. But while the job can be quite high pressured, you’ll be joining a team of 5 who will help you keep your cool – there’s no chaos in the office, just a quiet buzz of activity.

You’ll have to manage a lot of stakeholder relationships, including customers, suppliers and other departments, and build trust and manage expectations. But you’ll also get a great overview of how supply chains work from end to end to help your career for the future. Gary, your line manager, started out in this role.  Like him, you can get management training through the company if they see potential in you to follow in his footsteps – the company have offices across the UK so there are plenty of ways you can progress.
