Job title: Payroll Specialist

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm or 9.30am to 6pm, alternating each week

 

You’ll be joining a small team, providing an outsourced payrolling service for clients around 500 clients across the UK. Initially on a temporary contract to cover a member of the team who is on secondment with another department, you’re likely to secure a permanent role as the team is picking up new clients all the time after 2 to 3 months in the role.

 

All the data entry is done by the client, so your job is check everything has gone through correctly and process the payroll through to payment.  You’ll use your previous years’ experience in payroll to answer any client queries and advise on things like SSP and SMP, as well as producing any reports on request.

 

Should you succeed in securing a permanent job, you’ll have access to the team’s dedicated learning and development budget to complete a CIPP qualification in payroll.
