Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Do you want to join a team that are more concerned with offering the best service and technology advanced products?

Job title: Field Service Engineer/Installations Engineer
Hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week

Working within an independent fire and security company, you’ll be taking a company van out to their clients – from office and apartment buildings, to factories, care homes and schools – to install and repair their fire alarm and security systems.

You’ll be a joining a team of people who are very technically minded, and are always keeping up with the latest new technologies and have backgrounds in fire alarm systems, CCTV, door access and other security systems – the kind of background you have too. Many of the team started out as apprentices and have stayed and worked their way up over the last 10 years. But they’re not there because of a fancy package, just because you’re part of a team who care about doing a good job.

Because you’re dealing with business customers, most of the work is Monday to Friday, but you will be on call in case of any issues – you’ll get £100 for being on stand-by (1 shift in 4), and then up to double time when you’re working on call so you’ll earn a lot extra on your basic rate.
