We are looking for a born organiser, someone who can work on their own initiative when needed, with excellent time management and customer service skills. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in road freight or similar to help make the international supply chain of a very successful, rapidly growing Manchester business work!

This is an opportunity to work in lovely offices in a friendly team of 3 people who are responsible for ensuring goods get safely and efficiently from A to B in a fast paced environment.

Key Experience you must have

Road freight forwarding and European shipping knowledge to enable you to complete duties including:

  • Customer Service – updating clients with shipments status and resolving any issues and liaising with hauliers, co-loaders and third party suppliers
  • Handling quotations, job costing, completing export bookings and arranging collections
  • Liaising with foreign agents and dealing with Consular documentation and processing customs entries
  • You will need gook knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and attention to detail for data entry into the freight system
