Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias? Do you have experience of Siemens Step 7 systems?

 

Job title: Mechanical/Electrical Engineer

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Mon-Fri

 

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturing company in a hands-on role, ensuring their machinery runs smoothly. Your duties will include:

  • Taking responsibility for diagnosing and repairing electrical and PLC faults on automated production machinery including air control pick-and-place machines
  • Ensuring machines can run at optimum speeds to maximise production efficiency
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Proactive maintenance and servicing of machinery

 

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with working on Afag units, air control pick-and-place equipment and Siemens Step 7 systems
  • Experience working with robotics equipment, ideally Mitsubishi systems
  • Experience working on automated production lines
  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
